2026 Annual Awards Dinner

We had our annual awards dinner last week and a lot of fun was had by all! Long service awards were handed out to: Ann Batchelor and Allen Christey-Casson (60 years), Steve Brennan, Susan Bradley and Ken and Gill Rees (50 years), Elsie Murphy and Catherine Kay (45 years), Susan Shaw and Elsa McGhee (30 years), Fran Davies (25 years) and Paul Dainton (15 years). Thank you for your hard work and commitment to the society.

Seven Nominations and Three Awards

The Three Towns scooped three awards at the (NODA) National Operatic and Dramatic Association North West Awards Evening held on 4 th May at the Mercure Picadilly Hotel, Manchester: ‘Best Gilbert & Sullivan Production’, ‘Best Musical Director’ (Phil Boardman) and ‘Best Programme’ for their production of The Pirates of Penzance in May, at St. Joseph’s Hall, Leigh.

A fantastic start to the 2023 TTT concert season

We had a fantastic concert last night, performing a Last Night of the Proms concert with the amazing Golborne Brass Band at Lowton Social Club.

There was fabulous music, pasties and lots of flag waving. A great time was had by all!

We still have tickets available for The Three Towns in Concert at St Joesph’s Hall, Leigh. Tickets are selling fast, especially for Friday night.

Best Programme Award

The Three Towns were awarded the ‘Best Programme Award’ by The Association of Community Theatre Iolanthe, which was performed in May.

Congratulations to our publicity team Catherine Kay and Kathleen Freeborn for their hard work.

Concert Wins Top Award

Following our successful concert at St Joseph’s Hall, Leigh in November 2019. The Three Towns have won the ACT award for ‘The Most Original Concert’, presented by John Flay, Chairman of The Association of Community Theatre (ACT)
